Rona Wall, LCSW
Have a particular life obstacle you’re trying to overcome? Sometimes, seeking help from a seasoned expert is the best way to put things into perspective. And being entirely honest with yourself is a good exercise.
Rona Wall, originally from NY and then NJ, has been practicing psychotherapy and counseling for over 36 years, bringing a wealth of experience and post-graduate training in Modern Analysis, Group Therapy, and EMDR to Westport.
After receiving a post-graduate Advanced Certificate in Clinical Social Work from New York University in 1992, Rona began to specialize in treating adults with anxiety, depression and relationship issues, working with individuals, couples, and groups extensively.
Rona relocated to Westport, CT, in 2013, and now has a private practice with a focus on treating trauma, relationship conflicts, depression and anxiety. In addition, Rona has worked with people suffering from substance abuse and other addictions, which can be addressed using EMDR therapy.
"Rona Wall is an extraordinary therapist. She has helped me through some of the most difficult times in my life. I began seeing her while my grandfather was ill with cancer and I have to say I don't know how I would have gotten through my grandfather's death without her support and help. She helped me through an eating disorder as well. Her words of encouragement and guidance stay with me until this day, as I often hear her words resonating in my head. She is extremely thoughtful, and I truly believe she is an exceptional therapist! I would highly recommend a visit with Rona...one will be enough to make you want to return!"
